In addition to friendly service, our most frequent travelers receive additional benefits, privileges and recognition.

2011 EarlyReturns tier qualification status

Ascent level:
  • 15,000 Frontier flight miles flown in one calendar year (January through December)
  • 20 Frontier flight segments flown in one calendar year (January through December)

Summit level:
  • 25,000 Frontier flight miles flown in one calendar year (January through December)
  • 30 Frontier flight segments flown in one calendar year (January through December)

Membership levels

We offer three levels of EarlyReturns® membership benefits, as shown below. Note that you earn bonus miles when you reach Ascent or Summit status — so you can earn award travel even faster.

2 Based on availability, EarlyReturns® Summit members can upgrade for free to a STRETCH seat when booking, or can upgrade when checking in online or at the airport kiosk, ticket counter or gate. EarlyReturns® Ascent members can request an upgrade when checking in online or at the airport kiosk, ticket counter or gate. STRETCH seating is not available on Frontier Express flights. Summit and Ascent members may upgrade to SELECT seating for free at the time of purchase on any Fare Option.

3 Get a spot on the fullest flights. We guarantee Summit members only a seat on Frontier and Frontier Express flights when you purchase an unrestricted fare (Y class), even if the flight is full. Just call the Summit dedicated customer service number prior to departure to secure your seat. 

Tier status terms & conditions

Ascent status must be earned by using a single method of Flight Miles or Flight Segments. Summit status must be earned by using a single method of Flight Miles or Flight Segments. You cannot combine Flight Miles or Flight Segments to earn Ascent or Summit status. Only one method of calculation for earning Ascent or Summit status may be used. Flight Miles and Flight Segment calculation is based on activity in a calendar year schedule (January through December). A segment is defined as a flight between two airports using only one flight number, regardless of the number of intermediate stops or changes of planes. Redemption flight miles or segments do not count towards Elite status.

Flight miles = actual miles flown on a Frontier or Frontier Express scheduled flight, with a minimum of 500 miles per flight.

Any bonus miles earned are automatically credited to your account once travel is completed and do not count towards the Ascent Level or the Summit Level tier qualification. Once reached, Ascent or Summit level status remains activated through the following year plus January

Only mileage or segments earned from qualifying flights as defined in the EarlyReturns® program rules will qualify for Ascent or Summit status. Travel on tickets that are excluded from earning miles in the Program will not count toward Ascent or Summit status.

EarlyReturns® members will not receive full tier-status benefits on codeshare flights operated by Great Lakes Airlines.
