AIRFAIRS FAQS

What is AirFairs?
AirFairs is Frontier's new way of giving customers choice when they purchase a plane ticket. Pay for the level of certainty, flexibility and amenities you desire by selecting an Economy, Classic or Classic Plus fare. Classic provides a great value that includes the first two checked bags and added flexibility with lower fees for flight changes. Economy fares offer maximum savings with basic amenities. Classic Plus allows for maximum flexibility and amenities. Click here to learn more

Why is Frontier doing this?
We know that everyone likes to have a choice, especially when it comes to spending money. That's why we've completely revised our pricing structure to put you in the driver's seat. Now you can arrange your travel experience by selecting the fare type with the amenities that meet your budget and comfort needs.

How do I know which fare type is right for me?
The right fare type for you will vary depending on the type of trip you are taking. Are you taking a business trip with meetings or plans that could change? Are you traveling with companions with whom you wish to sit? Checking bags? Please click on the yellow header "which fare type am I?" on the AirFairs tutorial page which will ask you just a few brief questions to better direct you towards the right fare type for your trip.

Can I purchase a Classic or Classic Plus ticket for flights operated by Midwest Airlines or Midwest Connect?
No. We're sorry, but Midwest Airlines and Midwest Connect do not offer Classic or Classic Plus services on their flights at this time. Midwest and Midwest Connect flights will become Frontier branded flights on October 1, 2010, as our integration continues. After that date, AirFairs will be available for travel on all flights systemwide
