Can I earn EarlyReturns® miles when I fly on AirTran?
Yes. Be sure to ask AirTran Airways to enter your Frontier EarlyReturns® Member number into your reservation at the time of booking or at the AirTran Airways airport counter check-in position, curb or kiosk. It takes approximately 5-7 days after you have completed your flight for the miles to appear in your EarlyReturns® member account.
Can I earn AirTran A+ Rewards credits when I fly on Frontier?
Yes. Be sure to add your AirTran Airways A+ Rewards number to your reservation at the time of booking, or when checking in at any Frontier ticket counter, curb, kiosk or online. The credits you earn will be added to your AirTran Airways A+ Rewards account 5-7 days after you have completed travel.
Do the miles I earn when flying AirTran Airways count toward status on Frontier?
Yes, the miles you earn when you fly on AirTran Airways will count towards elite status in your EarlyReturns® account.
If I have Frequent Flyer accounts with both Frontier and AirTran Airways, which Frequent Flyer number do I use?
It is up to you. You can add either number to your reservation; however, you can only earn credits OR miles, not both for your itinerary.
How do I use my Frontier EarlyReturns® miles to purchase a ticket on AirTran Airways?

Is my EarlyReturns® Summit, Ascent or A+ Rewards Elite membership recognized by the other airline?
Yes, present your EarlyReturns® Summit or Ascent or your A+ Elite status card at the airport counter at check-in or on any flight to be recognized as an elite traveler (specific rules for each carrier apply).
I am a Frontier EarlyReturns® Ascent/Summit member. What benefits do I receive when flying AirTran Airways ?
As your Ascent/Summit status carries over to AirTran Airways, presentation of your Frontier EarlyReturns® Ascent/Summit card entitles you to dedicated check-in positions, priority at security checkpoints and priority boarding. At this time, upgrades to Business Class are not an Ascent/Summit member benefit when flying on AirTran Airways Airways.
I am a Frontier EarlyReturns® Ascent/Summit member, when flying on AirTran Airways will I still receive bonus miles for my flights?
Yes, you will still receive your 25% bonus miles for Ascent status and 50% bonus miles for Summit status.
I am an AirTran A+ Rewards Elite member. What benefits do I receive when flying Frontier?
Redemption Travel
A+ Rewards Elite members traveling on a redemption ticket will receive the following benefits upon presentation of an A+ Rewards Elite card matching their boarding pass at the airport ticket counter / gate / inflight:
Revenue Travel
All of the aforementioned benefits remain the same for A+ Elite members traveling on a paid ticket; however, changes to an itinerary on a day other than the original travel date is subject to availability and will incur any additional fare difference (change fee will still be waived). As Elite status cannot be verified over the phone or web at the time of booking, A+ Elite members may be charged bag fees or change fees associated with their reservation. Any A+ Elite members who are inadvertently charged fees associated with a revenue ticket may request a refund at a Frontier ticket counter upon presentation of an A+Rewards elite card matching their boarding pass. Please allow 6-8 weeks for refunds to process.
A+ Rewards Elite members traveling on a redemption ticket will receive the following benefits upon presentation of an A+ Rewards Elite card matching their boarding pass at the airport ticket counter / gate / inflight:
- Dedicated check-in positions
- 2 complimentary checked bags
- Priority at security checkpoints (in most airports)
- Priority boarding
- Free DIRECTV® service inflight (on Airbus aircraft, not Lynx)
- One free paid beverage inflight
- Same day itinerary change: passenger will be confirmed in an available seat free of charge
- Itinerary change for date other than original travel date: passenger will be confirmed in an available seat free of charge

If I do not have my Frontier EarlyReturns® Ascent/Summit card or my AirTran A+ Rewards Elite membership card with me, will I still receive my elite benefits?
Unfortunately, you must present your membership card to receive benefits when traveling. Frontier EarlyReturns® members who do not have a plastic membership card may print a paper version of their card from our website. Simply follow the steps below.

- Select Update My Profile on the left-hand navigation
- Select Print EarlyReturns® card
Are there any fees if I cancel my redemption booking?
Frontier charges a $50 cancellation / mileage or credit redeposit fee for award tickets. This fee is waived for A+ Elite Members. AirTran Airways charges a $50 cancellation / mileage or credit redeposit fee for award tickets. This fee is waived for any EarlyReturns® members who booked a Business Class ticket. The appropriate fee will be charged by the airline you had the reservation with.
Are there any other fees that apply to redemption tickets?
AirTran currently does not asses any additional redemption ticket fees to EarlyReturns® members. Please visit the EarlyReturns® FAQ Page on our website for an update on redemption ticket policies and fees.
If I cancel my redemption ticket, how long will it take to get miles/credits back into my account?
Please allow 5-7 days for miles or A+ credits to be re-deposited into your account. You can always check your account balance online at www.FrontierAirlines.com or www.AirTran.com.
What do I do if I didn't receive my miles or credits for a flight I took?
Contact the airline on which you traveled to apply for the missing A+ credits/miles.
