What airports do you fly to, and what are the codes?
We've put together a list of airports we serve along with their three-letter code. These codes are what we mark your checked bags with, so our folks know where they're headed. Don't worry, there won't be an oral quiz on these - unless you're training to be one of our wonderful flight attendants!
What is a codeshare?
This is not a secret agent spy code. Code sharing means that we synchronize our scheduling with some other airlines to give you more destination choices and better connecting schedules. A codeshare flight may be operated either by us or our partner carrier. The word "code" refers to the numbers used on your ticket that designate the flight schedule and flight number. Frontier offers service to several U.S. destinations through codeshare agreements with Great Lakes Aviation, Lynx Aviation, and Midwest Airlines.

I remember flying Frontier in the 1960s. Are you the same company?
The original Frontier Airlines, headquartered in Denver, Colorado, was officially born on June 1, 1950. In 1986 the company was purchased by People Express. Then, in 1993 executives from the original Frontier Airlines started thinking about filling in the holes left when Continental Airlines scaled back their flights to Denver. In 1994, Frontier was officially "reborn" and is now the second largest carrier from Denver International Airport (DIA). Click here to learn more about our history.
