Midwest Airlines FAQS

What is Frontier's relationship with Midwest Airlines and how does it affect me?
Frontier and Midwest are now part of the same Republic Airways Holdings family, and we are aligning with Midwest Airlines to bring added benefits to you, like the ability to book Midwest flights through FrontierAirlines.com and earn EarlyReturns miles on all Midwest flights. Though we hope to make this process as invisible to you as possible, you can expect to see some policy changes (mostly for the better) and some ticket counter consolidation at the airport.

Be assured, that though our family ties are new, our common commitment to the highest-quality customer service is not. Regardless of which aircraft you board, you'll find a safe, reliable, comfortable flight experience.

What is the Midwest Airlines codeshare agreement and how does it affect me?
We've expanded our codeshare agreement with Midwest Airlines to allow you to purchase tickets from Frontier Airlines for flights on the entire Midwest domestic network. You'll enjoy service to several new destinations - view our route map for a complete list of cities. Effective, October 1 all Midwest flights will be branded and operated as Frontier flights.

Can I purchase a Classic or Classic Plus ticket for flights operated by Midwest Airlines or Midwest Connect?
No. We're sorry, but Midwest Airlines and Midwest Connect do not offer Classic or Classic Plus services on their flights at this time. After October 1, when all Midwest Airlines flights will be branded and operated as Frontier flights, all flights system wide will offer Classic and Classic Plus fares and services.

I purchased a Frontier Airlines ticket that includes a Midwest connection, where do I check in?
We're so glad you asked! Regardless of which airline you used to purchase your ticket, you will check in with the airline operating the first flight segment of your travel itinerary. Depending on your itinerary, you may have to check in with Midwest Airlines for one direction of your travel and check in on Frontier Airlines for the return portion of your trip.

When you check in, you'll receive boarding passes for all flight segments to arrive at your final destination.

Frontier Ascent and Summit members are invited to check in using Midwest Airlines elite line at the airport ticket counter for flights operated by Midwest Airlines and Midwest Connect. Presentation of an EarlyReturns Ascent or Summit card is required.

How do I know which airline is operating my first flight segment?
