AT THE AIRPORT

about checking in

Online Check-In

To save time at the airport, we recommend that you check in online anywhere within 60 minutes to 24 hours before your scheduled departure time to prepay baggage fees, print your boarding pass, and head out. It's the fastest most convenient way to go.

Checking bags?

YES. That's ok. Checking in online:

  • Puts you in expedited service lines at the airport. Drop your bags at the curbside check-in or follow the "Checked In Online" signs to designated lines at the airport.
  • Allows you to pre-pay baggage fees. (You will still be responsible for oversized and excess luggage fees at the airport. Note that some items are exempt from baggage fees such as assistive devices. We can only waive fees for these items at the airport.)

NO. Bypass the ticket counter completely and proceed straight to security. (You may be charged at the gate for excess or carry-on items too large to fit in the overhead bin).

But please note, due to security measures, some passengers may not be able to use Online Check-In. Also, please be at the gate and ready to board no later than 20 minutes before departure. If you are checking bags, you must be at the check-in counter no later than 30 minutes before your departure. Some airports have a 45 minute check-in cutoff with or without bags. Please go to Airport & Terminal info for these exceptions.

Kiosk

Skip the service counter lines and check yourself in at the self-serve kiosks (available in most airports). Simply scan your confirmation, swipe your credit card, ID, or passport to view your itinerary, check bags, and print your boarding pass.

Self-serve kiosks are available in Aspen, Branson, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orlando, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Spokane, and Washington DC.

Curbside

Check-in curbside (where available) and get through the airport faster. You can print your boarding pass, check and pay for bags, and head straight to security.

Service Counter

If you need some extra help with the check-in process, our customer service agents are always available to help get you going with traditional counter check-in, available in all airports.

Travelling Internationally?

Please arrive at the airport at least two hours prior to departure. We strongly recommend coming earlier during peak travel times, such as holidays, because those lines are long...everybody wants to go. You and your baggage must be checked in no later than one hour prior to scheduled departure for international flights. Review baggage and passport requirements now.

Is your first flight segment operated Midwest Airlines?

Be sure to check in at the Midwest Airlines ticket counter.

If you are unable to make your flight, be sure to cancel your ticketed flight reservation prior to your scheduled departure time and you will retain the value of your ticket for up to one year from the original issue date. Passengers traveling on an Economy ticket who cancel reservations after the scheduled departure time will forfeit the entire ticket value.

Remember, occasionally your gate assignments and departure times can change, so be sure to stay updated by checking the flight monitors at the airport.
