Here is the latest update (8am EDT) - Tropical Storm Fay was located along the shoreline near Cape Canaveral, Florida (approximately 30nm E of Orlando). The maximum sustained winds have decreased to 45 mph & the track continues slowly to the N at 5 mph. The track for this storm should turn westward late tonight near Ormond Beach, FL while decreasing in intensity to a Tropical Depression by Friday. Frontier Airlines is reminding its customers to take the following steps in preparing for travel:

  • Check in online at home. You can print a boarding pass at home from 23 hours to 90 minutes before your flight. You can even do this when you are checking bags at the airport. There is a special line at the Frontier ticket counters for people who have checked in on line, that line is usually quite short.

  • Allow extra time getting to the airport due to possible road conditions.

  • Arrive at the airport two hours prior to your flight. Be sure to allow time for parking or drop-off in addition to the two-hour time frame.

We will continue to monitor this storm - Ft. Lauderdale/ Orlando/ Tampa may still experience strong/gusty winds and moderate rain with thunderstorms. Normal operations are planned for these stations today. To check the status of your flight, click on the link below.
