HOW IT WORKS
about our tier levels
In addition to friendly service, our most frequent travelers receive additional benefits, privileges and recognition.tier qualification for 2010 status
If you are opted in for eCommunications from us, you have likely already received a confirmation email indicating your Ascent or Summit status for 2010 (if you qualified earlier in 2009 for status through 2010, you would have received this email at the time of qualification).
Remember, even if you don't fly as much as you used to - you can reach Ascent or Summit status faster in 2010 with enhanced EarlyReturns® earning rates at the Classic or Classic Plus fare level under the AirFairs program.
AirFairs is Frontier's pricing structure that puts the customer (you!) in the drivers seat, allowing you to select the travel amenities that are important for your trip. Ascent & Summit members fear not! Your status still entitles you to receive the same great travel benefits that you worked so hard to earn. Learn more about how AirFairs works with your tier status.

tier status terms & conditions
Ascent status must be earned by using a single method of Flight Miles or Flight Segments. Summit status must be earned by using a single method of Flight Miles or Flight Segments. You cannot combine Flight Miles or Flight Segments to earn Ascent or Summit status. Only one method of calculation for earning Ascent or Summit status may be used. Flight Miles and Flight Segment calculation is based on activity in a calendar year schedule (January through December). A flight segment is defined as one takeoff and one landing. Flight Miles and Flight segments may only be accrued for Elite status on paid travel on regularly scheduled flights based on origin and destination. Redemption flight miles or segments do not count towards Elite status.
Flight miles = actual miles flown on a Frontier, Lynx Aviation, Midwest Airlines, or AirTran Airways scheduled flight.
Any bonus miles earned are automatically credited to your account once travel is completed and do not count towards the Ascent Level or the Summit Level tier qualification. Once reached, Ascent or Summit level status remains activated through the following year plus January
EarlyReturns members will only receive full tier-status benefits on Frontier, Lynx Aviation, and Midwest Airlines scheduled flights. Members will receive most tier benefits on AirTran Airways scheduled flights.
example: qualify 10/15/2009; receive elite status effective through 1/31/2011
