CORPORATE PROGRAMS

how it works

overview

Companies registered for our Business Travel Program (BTP) earn a 3% rebate credit* on every published fare ticket purchased and flown on Frontier Airlines and Frontier JetExpress for business travel. BTP credits are accumulated in a credit bank and can be applied to future travel. In addition to the credit the member company receives, the company's business travelers can earn EarlyReturns® Frequent Flyer miles and other benefits as members of our EarlyReturns® mileage program.

Once the company is enrolled, BTP credits are tracked automatically and added to the credit bank on a monthly basis. Travelers who include the company's unique corporate code in their EarlyReturns® profile and book travel through FrontierAirlines.com automatically have their corporate code added to their ticket. If travelers prefer to call our Reservations Department or a travel agent, they simply need to provide their company's corporate code at the time of ticketing.**

the main points

  • BTP is designed for companies of any size.
  • By signing up for this program you are agreeing to receive monthly e-statements via email. A valid email address must be provided in order to remain in the program.
  • Travel agencies and other sellers of travel are not eligible for program participation.
  • Tickets must be used for business travel purposes and traveler must be an employee of the company.
  • Family members are not eligible unless proof of employment is submitted.
  • Leisure travel is not eligible for this program.

eligible tickets

Tickets must be issued with any of our published fares and ticketed on Frontier Airlines (422) to qualify. Tickets issued on any other airline's ticket stock do not qualify. Barter and non-published fare tickets (e.g. CheapTickets, vacation packages, Weekend Web Fares, etc.) are not eligible for the 3% credit. Credit can not be accrued on tickets using any other discount, including corporate accounts, meeting travel, groups, and online travel agencies.

how credit is accrued

The rebate credit is calculated by multiplying the base fare of ticket by 3%. Tickets must be purchased and flown on Frontier Airlines (422) or Frontier JetExpress only. All tickets purchased and flown on code share partners (i.e. Great Lakes Aviation, and AirTran) are not eligible. Taxes, airport charges, and security fees are excluded from the 3% calculation. All rules and restrictions apply to tickets purchased.

Retroactive credit is not eligible for this program.

when credits are posted

The rebate credit is posted to your BTP account approximately 6 weeks after travel is complete. If the ticket is exchanged, credit is issued from the ticket that was actually traveled on. When the company's monthly e-statement is available for viewing, an email is sent to the company administrator at the email address we have on file for the company's account.

booking on FrontierAirlines.com

Reservations booked and ticketed on the Frontier website are eligible for credit on the BTP, with the exception of Weekend Web Fares. If the BTP member is booking for himself or herself, he or she must log in from the home page of the website using their EarlyReturns® profile information. Once logged in the traveler will be given two options:

  • Shop for Business Travel: Selecting this link will allow your company to earn BTP credit if the ticket is an Eligible Ticket. Your travel detail will be displayed on the company's BTP Summary.

  • Shop for Travel: Selecting this link will allow you to book personal travel on Frontier. Personal travel is not eligible for BTP credit.

If a person is booking on behalf of someone else, he or she should follow the procedures above, but replace the traveler's name, EarlyReturns® member number, and any applicable contact information with that of the actual traveler.

making reservations other than on FrontierAirlines.com

Tickets issued by travel agents must have the corporate code appended to the IT/tour code box of every ticket issued. This code is necessary to ensure proper tracking of company travel activity. Upon request ticketing instructions will be sent to the company's travel agency. However, the company is responsible for ensuring that the travel agent issues the tickets properly. Tickets issued improperly won't be tracked and may not receive program credit.

To book your reservations directly with Frontier, visit FrontierAirlines.com. However, should you prefer to speak with a Frontier Airlines Reservations agent, you may call the Corporate Accounts/Agency Support Desk at 800-952-7637, or in Metro Denver at 303-371-7171, during business hours 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Mountain Time. The caller is responsible for advising the agent that he or she has a BTP account and must provide the agent with his or her company's corporate code, and EarlyReturns® number.** (This will only work if the caller's EarlyReturns® account contains the company's corporate code.) Note: A $15 non-refundable ticketing service fee may be applied.

admin account access

The company administrator is responsible for updating any changes to the account (e.g. company contact, address, phone, fax, and email address). To log in as the company administrator on our website, enter the company's username and password, as issued in the initial emails sent when the company signed up. The company username format is ########ADMIN01. To make any administrative account changes, follow the link to the BTP account profile and then click on "Update Profile." Company administrators should only use the Admin login to manage the company's account.

The company administrator is able to view and track all business travel reservations made through the website, as well as administrate the company's travelers' account access, but can not book travel using the company's "admin" username. Instead, the administrator who needs to book travel, with either the company credit card or the company's credit bank (if available), should use a personal EarlyReturns® login, and make sure that the EarlyReturns® profile is updated with the corporate code.

Only one administrator can be designated. If your company has more than one travel coordinator, the information received can be forwarded.

Note: All log ins can be from the home page at www.frontierairlines.com.

redeeming credit

The company's BTP credit bank accrues credits which can then be applied to future travel purchases. If a traveler wishes to use credit from the credit bank to apply to a ticket purchase, he or she will need to do this on our website. The traveler or person booking and ticketing on behalf of the traveler must be authorized by the company administrator to access the credit bank, and must select "Shop for Business Travel" when making the booking.

To allow a traveler to apply credit from the company's credit bank, the company administrator must indicate credit bank access in the BTP account profile.

Travelers with credit bank access will not be able to view the BTP account profile or any detail other than the credit bank balance. The credit bank balance will display on the credit card information page during the booking process when the "Apply Credit Bank" link is selected. The amount of credit bank applied to a ticket will be reflected on the e-ticket receipt and through Redemption details in your BTP Account Summary. BTP credit may only be applied online towards the purchase of any published/Internet fare available on FrontierAirlines.com.

If the credit balance is less than the new ticket price, the purchaser pays the difference, and credit card information will need to be entered. If the rebate credit exceeds the ticket price, the leftover balance will be updated after the transaction is completed. Credit card information will need to be entered for identification purposes. The company participating in the BTP assumes all responsibility regarding the use of the travel credit as well as enabling and disabling the credit bank function for each individual traveler to use.

unreported credit

The company administrator is able to view all tracked and flown tickets via the monthly statements. If there are missing tickets that were booked and flown using the proper code, the company administrator can request BTP credit for these flights by completing the "Unreported Credit Request Form," which is available under the Business Travel Program section on our website.

Unreported credit requests must be completed by the company, and within 30 days of your e-statement notification. Only tickets booked using a valid corporate code will be considered for credit.

The decision to provide BTP credit for these unreported tickets will be at our sole discretion.Unreported travel credit requests are a manual process and do not post to your online account immediately.

program modification/termination

We reserve the right to modify, alter, or discontinue the Business Travel Program (BTP) at any time with or without notice to BTP account members. Frontier Airlines will make every effort to provide companies with a reasonable notice should any major changes to the program be made. We may also, at our sole discretion, decide to cancel any account from the program by providing notice to the company.
