  • Frontier measured second in passenger satisfaction with airlines in the Market Metrix Hospitality Index™ for the first quarter of 2009. (June 2009).
  • For the tenth consecutive year, Frontier's maintenance department received the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Diamond Award (1999-2008). The award is the highest given by the FAA and recognizes advanced training for aircraft maintenance professionals throughout the industry. To receive the award, 25 percent of a company's aircraft maintenance technicians must complete certified training requirements beyond the technician's initial licensing. Frontier was the first airline to have 100 percent of eligible employees complete the aviation maintenance training program (February 2009).
  • For the fifth consecutive year, Condé Nast Traveler magazine recognized Frontier as one of readers' "Top 10 Domestic Airlines" in its Readers' Choice Awards (October 2008).
  • For the sixth consecutive year, Travel + Leisure magazine recognized Frontier as one of readers' "Top 10 Domestic Airlines" in its 2007 World's Best Awards (July 2008).
  • Won Effie Award for the second consecutive year. The 2008 Silver honor recognized Frontier's "Favorite Animal" campaign (June 2008).
  • Won Martin Luther King, Jr. Business Social Responsibility Award, a high honor bestowed upon individual business people, corporations and non-profit organizations who have contributed to the Denver community (January 2008).
  • Frontier's "Favorite Animal" campaign was nominated for a Technology & Engineering Emmy® Award in the category of Outstanding Achievement in Advanced Media Technology for Best Use of "On Demand" Technology (December 2007).
  • Won U.S. "Program of the Year" and "Best Award" at the 19th Annual Freddie Awards for the best frequent flyer programs, and placed in six other categories (April 2007).
  • Business Traveler magazine named Frontier "Best LCC" in the United States in its annual reader's poll (December 2006).
